Hi!
Please, my #Tequalizer doesn't display its spectrum analyzer. It blinks at the beginning of a clip sometimes, then it goes blank. I wanted to give it a try, especially when I was forced to buy it, but this...?
I understand, you are a small dev team, and you have a lot to do. But come on. You charged the same amount as Steinberg did for version 12 upgrade. But as soon as Cubase brought some thought-out upgrades and new plugins, you included an unnecessary set of plugins, which even didn't work! (My specs are in my forum signature.)

Version 1.0.44 is working as expected here on Ubuntu. Both after an Audio clip and a vst.

Version 1.0.44 also works fine here on Windows 10. Running 12.0.54 of Waveform.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I even can't see the new "thumbnails" of Tequaliser and Tcompressor it the plugin area.

I don't believe T-Equalizer shows the thumbnail, just waveforms built in EQ does.

Are you sure you haven't set the 'Analyzer mode' to 'Off' in the T-Equalizer settings ? [ click the gear icon beside the bands 1 - 8 ]

Oh, you're right, my mistake. But then. What is the purpose of having two almost identical plugins? Even when the newer one has some limitations (the plugin area thumbnail for example). However I just realized 8band equalizer doesn't show the spectrum analyzer too.
And yes, it's turned on in both cases.

I'm not sure what Tracktion's decision regarding the whole bundling of the Daw Essentials Collection is, sorry.

Yeah I've never really looked much at this before, so you are wanting the spectrum analyzer view for the EQs ? It does make sense to have them in the thumbnail view , or at least have the option in the settings to switch on/off if CPU was an issue.
The inbuilt compressor has an analyzer in the thumbnail view after all.

Now that you mention you are getting no spectrum analyzer in the 8 band eq either, I wonder are you missing a system lib that is required to run this? maybe openGL or the windows equivalent, I'm really unsure what lib is used here for this?

What settings are you using in > Settings > Advanced > GUI Rendering mode ? some people have had issues with OpenGL rendering with some plugins.

Thanks for your advice. I tried both rendering engines. I realized I had 10% more of CPU usage with openGL, but it had no influence on the analyzer. I use the software renderer instead.
As I mentioned earlier, the analyzer flashes briefly (one frame maybe) at the beginning of a looped clip, then it disappears.

I think unless you have a dedicated graphics card openGL rendering won't reduce the load off the CPU from what I understand.

That is indeed strange that that the analyzer seems to start but cannot continue. Just to rule out have you any DPI awareness enabled and also plugin sandboxing ?

Are you able to run any other vst plugins that draw an analyzer ?
