Search panel tags filter change

The Search panel has changed how it filters based on tags. It used to be AND but now it's OR. Now if I select the Bass tag and the Amp tag I get everything tagged Bass and also everything tagged Amp.

My preference would be AND if it can only be done one way. I can't really imagine any scenarios where the current OR could be useful.

Yes please revert this or make it optional (ideally you should be able to switch search operators between AND, OR and NOT), I use tags to filter down to the exact plugins that fit what I want, not to add to a list

I am a preset goblin...if I do anything three or more times, I make a preset for it. As a result, I have a lengthy list and miss multiple filtering (the tag color system is really nice, though, in keeping things neat). The new Browser was meant to reduce scrolling, but has for me wound up going the other way.

Can you give tags colours now?

(EDIT Oh I see when I right click on one there's a colour selection bar - however selecting a colour doesn't seem to actually change the colour of the tag - looks like it's just for colouring favourites)

Would also be good if 'show folder structure' toggle was retained when saved (I like it off)

Yes this is making things much worse, instead of refining search results it adds new results with each additional tag selected. I can't understand why anyone thought this was a useful change. I'm not inclined to update till I know this is going to be fixed.

I haven't noticed any of the devs here in a while. Someone should put in an actual support request.

The presence of devs here has always been off and on, but lately they've really been invisible. Must be working hard on something.

I have a ticket in since Feb 19 without any kind of response so far. I'm curious to know what they actually are working on.

I've heard back now from support, they have acknowledged it is a problem and it should be fixed in the next release
