Triggering note action map

Hi. How can I set up a midi sequence or clip to play the note action map? It's easy to play live but I want editing control. Am I missing something? Thanks-

A composer note action map works on the event input of that composer. Triggering a composer's note action map from within that same composer is not possible. You need to setup a composer or (step) sequence player before the composer with the note action map. It can be a parent composer (thus the composer with the target note action map is nested into that parent composer) or it can be an upstream composer, both will work. Does this answer your question?

Thanks man! I had tried connecting 1 composer upstream from another, but had mistakenly placed the note action map in the upstream instead of downstream. Great stuff. I'm now using Mulab as my primary daw, though I'll definitely use the plugin at some point. Be seeing you-
