I know this is niche, but it makes all the difference for me.
I'm not sure when it stopped working, as I've been using another DAW where it works flawlessly, but it seems as though Waveform - and my preset I'd made to recall it - no longer sends audio out (or something) to my USAMO device. Nothing has changed except the DAW. What once worked in v11 no longer works in v11 or v12.
I spent $50 to upgrade to v12 and... I guess it was a donation to Tracktion Corp., since I won't use the DAW without this working. Ah well.
Basically, I stick the USAMO plugin on Track 1, then have a volume boost of +3db, then it goes into an Insert sending it to the correct audio output on the audio interface (output 7), with no return.
This worked 100% reliably months ago when I checked in Waveform, but no longer. Same setup in Studio One works perfectly well. I'm going to go use it right now.
[RESOLVED] Expert Sleepers USAMO no longer working (11 and 12)

This sounds like the old days of running backups to tape drives, to provide an alternate solution to transfer digital data. As I remember, volumes are very sensitive on these - so it's possible that either a waveform or windows update or driver setting may have changed at some time. Altering ASIO or audio settings intentionally or a changed default might have also changed a default gain somewhere in the path.
Is it possible, also, that another software running may be loaded at the same time, and taken over exclusive access that the Insert may not be capable of sending to that device? That or the sensitivity trim might need to be altered.

What seems to have changed is… unknown. But it seems to be working again. Settings were all matched and the DAWs weren’t running simultaneously. Weird.
I’ll update the thread title and consider it resolved unless it happens again.
