Hi all,

Since Cubase 12 it is possible to take any midi controller and assign it as an AI knob. It will control whatever your mouse is pointing at. This works mostly for Cubase plugins, but also for some 3rd-party plugins (like fabfilter). The developers need to integrate this before this is possible.

Is this possible to do with zebra as well? Currently the AI knob does not work with Zebra, but the possibility of doing sound-design with less mouse and more turning knobs is very appealing

I know it is possible to assign the controls with quick controls, but since there is so many features and controls in Zebra the AI Mouse integration would be very interesting.

We already have something very similar integrated in our own MIDI learn system for many years.

Go to the MIDI learn page, assign a controller to a parameter.
Now switch to the MIDI table page, and in the parameter tab, scroll down to the end of the list and select "Last clicked control".
Now that MIDI CC controls whatever plugin parameter you click on with the mouse.
