About Aero

Aero is a plug-in suite consisting of two FREE players, Aero Stomp and Aero Amp, both available in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX format. They represent a pioneering and innovative new project from Acustica aimed at the world of sound design and guitar.

This is the first Acqua plugin to use our revolutionary new AI-based Terra technology.
Their design and development took a long time, but this time, which we gladly spent, has been amply repaid by the incredible results achieved.

We hope that AERO will improve your approach to ITB effects, providing you with all-new tools to get the results you are looking for. Designed not to be homologated with current market standards and featuring emulations that are not 'pre-packaged' and sterile as a result of our painstaking, state-of-the-art sampling.

Hi!
Try reinstalling from Aquarius, that combination is working fine here. If the problem persists please open a ticket to our support with the amp and cab selected.

I installed from Aquarius. No need for a support ticket. I've already uninstalled it...

Would I be called a troll if I said that looks pretty normal for FL Studio + AA :/

You would not only be called a troll but totally incorrect as well.

That is far from normal or I wouldn't have reported it....Aero used far more idle CPU than any other plugin I've ever tried, effect or synth.

Oh and I tested in Reaper, Cakewalk by Bandlab, and Orion as well.....

I can’t believe how bad the GUI is.
Tried for few minutes and uninstalled because of it. Not impressed by the sound though.
There aren’t any guitarists in AA?
Never saw a guitar ampli before?
Too bad because this was the only time the latency was good with an AA plugin.
Never mind…

Why not put this information in the manual?

On the demo, key modifiers for fine tuning seemed to be absent.

Yep, too overdone. We shouldn't have to think how to use the interface, it should be intuitive and not fugly.

The demo of Volume A had issues when I tried it, cutting out and ceasing to work when changing selections. It had to be removed and reinserted on the track. I don't know if it's my system, but I've had issues recently with several Acustica trials

The demo release is date is 2024 - the full version release date is 2022? The demo appears newer than the full product, I don't know if this means anything. Edit - been rectified in Aquarius

That said, with the sale and loyalty savings I might get it. Really like the funk amp, instant Prince.

Although there is a note on the product website, I have just reported it so that this important installation info can be included in the product manual. Thank you very much for your feedback!

When we have Neural Amp Modeler with its tons of free and now some higher quality paid pedal/amp packs, this has zero appeal to most guitarists.

After more testing today, I find it unusable and "Beggars Belief" a product so buggy has been brought to the marketplace. It froze my DAW, stopped working and passing audio and when changing cabs and presets. I've a feeling buffer sizes play a part.

It's a shot in the foot for Acustica, it does nothing for their reputation. It isn't worth the €39 sale price, never mind the €149 list price. It's a $29 product when functioning.

The only reason to purchase would be the hope of future improvements, but it's unusable and a pain at the moment, not worth the hassle.

I do like the clarity when it is working, reminds me of 70's records, nice and clean.

Aero Amp could do with a tone stack built in, mic placement graphic, output and trim level lock, key modifiers for fine tuning, revamped GUI and the high and low filters sound unusable to me.

The manual could do with a revision.
