I'm sending out Traction projects to my "high powered" friend in Nashville. Very successful co-songwriter with scads of money and the best of all equipment. Mac, Pro-Tools, etc.
I've known him just about all my life and I can tell by his reviews and help on my projects that he and she are just dying to ask what I'm using.
I love Traction.

Put him in touch with me and I'll be glad to show him the ropes. I'm in Nashville now, having just put my house up for sale in Miami and I'm trying to meet new friends here, especially other songwriters. If he is interested I'll PM you my cell #.I've known him just about all my life and I can tell by his reviews and help on my projects that he and she are just dying to ask what I'm using.

Hi Rock,
I see you made the leap. I'm just up the road in Franklin, Ky. Email me and I'll give you my phone.
I'm not as well connected as I used to be but we do still come to town every now and then. We were in yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Went for a hike at Percy Warner and had dinner with a friend in Inglewood. We'll be at the Death Cab for Cutie show the 26th - $7 at uptown mix (behind the Great Escape on 21st). Also, I have another solo art show with Tag Art Gallery at the end of the month or first of next. This will be my third show with Tag in the last 3 years.
I'm pretty busy painting most of the time but have been writing and recording more in the last year. I'm mostly into Neil FInn, XTC and late 80's/early 90's stuff. Lately, I've been writing more jazz-inspired guitar pop like Caetano Veloso and Kings of Convenience.
Take care.
James

A friend of mine, who's recently signed to Warp records, was asking on our local forum about what software to buy. Everyone came up with the usual Logic, Cubase, etc, but of course I recommended Traction. He loves it, and he's glad I saved him a few hundred pounds too.
