So, where’d we land on those side-chain inputs?

I know a few folks have been asking about getting side-chain inputs on diva/repro-1/bazille. Is that anywhere in the cards? Or are there unique challenges preventing it? Just wondering.

It has always been a yes/no/yes/no/yes/no for different formats and for whatever host or plug-in developers interpret into them. We always developed for the common denominator of formats, thus preventing us from implementing audio input for instruments.
If you read this and the following paragraph:
https://cleveraudio.org/the-story-and-m ... d-for-clap
Offering features selectively for plug-in formats that support them is one key aspect of our CLAP movement. Audio input for instruments is available in CLAP, and thus it should be wherever else it is supported. But first we need to finish the transition (and the wrapper technology, but that is fast moving) and then we need to do a round of feature updates.
Hopefully also with CLAP we don't need to do format-specific development anymore, freeing resources for the stuff we actually want to do.
