I subscribe to Electronic Musician, Mix, TapeOp and pickup the occasional copy of Computer Music and Future Music.

When I see ads or reviews in those magazines displaying multiple windows laying on top of each other, I almost get sick thinking of all of the wasted productivity in just navigating between windows.

I've only used T for about 2 months now, but there is absolutely no way I could go back to a multi-window mess.

The October issue of Mix has a 1-pager tip sheet on editing in Digital Performer 4, and the one screen shot they showed has no less than 7 open windows. At least it's 7 from what you can see - who knows what lies buried behind the mess.

I see that now and really, it's repulsive to me.

I can never go back to alt-tabbing, or window mining again. Too wasteful.

Jules, you've ruined me. A sincere Thank You is in order.

Even though I now have to play all my lines in properly from the keyboard cos midi editing is such a drag, I find myself smiling, laughing and generally acting like a happy person as I use T, whereas Cubase just makes me depressed.

It's also making me a better keyboard player (I'm a saxophonist)
