Hi,

I wonder if it would be possible to have more control over the triggering modes available for the loop-boxes and the velocity layers.
My question is if:

A) In addition to the "random loops" mode already available, could the loop-boxes have the following capabilities?
1) play in "random loops" mode with a special rule to avoid the repetition of the same loop 2 times in a row
2) play round-robin forward (12345-12345-12345-...)
3) play round-robin in reverse (54321-54321-54321-...)
4) play round-robin "ping-pong" (12345-4321-2345-4321-2345-...)
5) hability to change (drag) a box into another position (in this case, it would be handy to have a seed button to randomly rearrange the sequence of the whole loop-box)

B) In addition to the "random" mode available for the velocity layers, could capabilities be expanded to include:
1) play round-robin in reverse (54321-54321-54321-...)
2) play round-robin "ping-pong" (12345-4321-2345-4321-2345-...)

Again THANKS a lot for listening.
MDrummer still rocks! :D

Hi, well, I'm afraid that sounds quite pointless and is actually a bit complicated. Usually the random loops is just for composition and at the end the producer switches it off and chooses the best loops for his case. But avoiding repetition of the same loop sounds logical. I'll add that to todo list, though it's a bit difficult in this case.

Yes, i absolutely agree with you, since MDrummer is designed to work in this way!
The thing is that for some of my projects i really like to let MDrummer run freely and record its output. It usually works well as a great source of material for further processing. That's the reason why i thought the extended random features could help MDrummer to deliver as much drumming variation as possible...

Looking forward to it! Thank you! :D
