MSoundfactory cpu spikes

MSoundfactory spikes cpu and audio skips when I adjust any parameters in DXpluck.
All of the other Melda Plug-ins are really smooth and light on cpu so I’m wondering if I need to adjust a setting in MSoundfactory?

Indeed MultiCore sometimes only makes things worse. It depends on the computer and the sound. I personally leave it always on, but all my computers & laptops are quite high-end, so that may be it. People often tend to keep it on for 10 years old macs, which really won't work too well, these machines are just way too slow and have just a few cores.
