MSF and MD "Essentials" it says "installed" but also has a graphic with a "!" in it. Seems like it's trying to say something contradictory.

I have that, too. Maybe its a graphic to say, "This is important/essential?"

I did see this image on Benn Jordan too. Seems like it can be ignored.

I reckon that the ! just means "Essential".

Mind you I have them both installed (and usable in the plug-ins) but the Download Manager says "Download & Install" for both of them.

Just replace the exclamation point with the word ESSENTIAL.

(BTW, the exclamation point usually indicates that there is some kind of problem.)
