Is there some reason the tempo is not automatable in MSF arpeggiator? It doesn't show up as a parameter, but other things like number of steps is. Can it be added please?

The idea with an arp is that it's synced to the host usually. But, I do like the idea to have it deviate from it, via both automation and modulators. Melda delays can do it.

Sorry, it needs to follow the host's tempo.

What do you mean? I can turn the tempo knob manually just fine regardless of the host tempo and it works. It is just not a parameter viewable as automation.

I can also do that, but only if my DAW (Reaper) isn't running.

No, it works when the DAW is running. I'm using Reaper too. The way I actually got around the lack of automation is to press record and manually move the tempo knob with the mouse, while recording audio output. This is pretty ridiculous and Melda should allow it as an automation parameter just like it does the other parameters on the arpeggiator page. Here is a video in case it is not clear:

What?
Must check again later. Yes, in that case allowing automation would be great, at least for Reaper users. Maybe it's a minefield in general.
