ZebraHZ patches in Zebra2

Zebra2 seems to load ZebraHZ patches without error message when a HZ module like Resonator is used.
Is there a way to find out if a ZebraHZ patch is Zebra2 compatible i.e. not using special HZ features?

We only check for which product presets are designed when you try to install a soundset or drag and drop presets into the plugin. This will prevent users from installing ZebraHZ presets into Zebra2.
If you use the system's Finder/Explorer to move patches from ZebraHZ to Zebra2, they will show up and load, as we don't check for the product each time a preset is loaded. You will get no warning or error message in this case.
To find out if a ZebraHZ preset sounds identical in Zebra2, you will have to compare it by playing it in both plugins.
The geeky alternative would be to open the h2p preset file in a text editor to check if the HZ specific modules have any settings that differ from their default values. That would indicate that these modules might have been used in the preset.

I don't own ZebraHZ, so geek option for me.
Resonator:
In section #cm=Res1/2/3 look for Gain1/2/3/4 <> 0.00
Comb Filters:
check sections #cm=Comb3/4
Diva Filter:
check sections #cm=D-VCF1-4 and #cm=D-HPF1-4
MSEG:
check sections #cm=MSEG5-8
When deactivating a module this seems to be stored in the binary section only.

So, if you create a patch in Zebra HZ that does not use its exclusive features, does that mean it will work in Zebra 2?

If you try to drag it from outside straight into the Zebra2 preset browser, you will get a message that the preset isn't compatible, as ZebraHZ presets are not supposed to be loaded inside Zebra2.tony10000 wrote: Tue Nov 15, 2022 11:22 pm So, if you create a patch in Zebra HZ that does not use its exclusive features, does that mean it will work in Zebra 2?
However, if you move it to the Zebra2 preset folder using your system file manager, it will load in Zebra2.
