Step sequensing modulation of effects in MSoundFactory?

My apologies for my ignorance, I have mostly focused on the sound generators in MSoundFactory and pretty much ignored the modules. I'm looking for something similar to DS Thorn, step sequensing modulation in conjuction with the step sequenser, modulating for example distortion, filters, volume and any effect in the same manner, not just on or off, more as waveforms or patterns creating rhytmic effects. Any suggestions on how and which modules, or to any videos explaining? Anyway, please keep it simple

Simple? You "might" have chosen the wrong manufacturer...
You can use LFO as step type modulators. When using per voice LFOs they will retrigger on every note on, which is not desitable at all times. The global LFOs will run freely.

I'll rephrase: "Not that I'm aware of".
Sorry. Just trying to be helpful, adding what I do know to what you asked (it might help someone else).

I made a video about that a few years ago. In the video I show how you can do it. If you want to do it with a large number of FX MXXX is the best way, but if you just need 1 or 2 different fx you can do it separately. I hope this answers you question.

Thanks! It did indeed help. I'm still struggling with some features though, and wonder if it would work better not using the arp section at all, and instead use a step sequenser LFO for pitch controlChandlerhimself wrote: Sun Oct 23, 2022 2:57 pm I made a video about that a few years ago.
