How many pedal-up velocity layers are there in Meldway Grand?

Is it the same number of velocity layers for pedal-down?

I'm afraid I don't remember, but it's about the same. And it's different for each key. We adapted the number of layers to actual sonic performance of each key.

Thanks. Do you remember roughly what the number was? Was it below 10, or 10-15, or 15-20 (for pedal-up separately, and for pedal-down separately)? The piano sounds very nice in playability, but trying to understand what the approximate range is, for the number of velocity layers?

You can check yourself! As anything in MSF, you can get to the bottom of it and change it if needed . I think it usually was like 8-10.
