Hi doesanyone, know how to get waveform to allow audio from youtube & media player,
to work while waveform is open.
I'm pretty sure its not my audio card as I can play youtube & and check stereo mix via media player
wnen I have Reaper open and in use.

You normally want to use ASIO for audio input/output, but normally it defaults to grabbing the output device exclusively. If you use Windows Audio, it allows you to mix; but you may wind up with latency issues.

I use an ASIO driver and am able to use Youtube and Waveform 11 without a problem.
I'm sure it depends a lot on how the driver is designed.
The only time I have a problem is when the windows sample rate is different from Waveform. Then only Waveform will work.
I keep them both at 48k and everything works great.

Thanks guys, I'm using the emu asio, works fine with Reaper, but not with Waveform? Seems Waveform won't let it go to other apps on my system.
