(zebra) why init patch transpose -12 ?

Hello,
I was struggling trying to reproduce a patch from scratch, and figured out it was the main plugin who was transposed -12. Is there a reason the init patch does that way?

Seems to be kinda standard for u-he?
I checked:
* BazilleCM: -12
* Tyrell N6: -12
* Hive: -12
