I finally got around to the high gain amps in MTurboamp. A lot of the sound will come from the speaker, but hopefully this will give you a basic idea of how they sound and the various features they have. I hope you find it useful.

As a long time guitarist. I must have been living under a rock :D because I am unfamiliar with what that DI vst is contributing exactly, other than a volume boost that can be freely and easily accomplished? Thanks!

I don't know for sure since I didn't make it, but my guess is that it is simulating an impedance curve and perhaps adding a slight bit of saturation, but I'm not sure about the last part. Many interfaces don't have proper impedance for guitar and this makes your guitar sound duller than it normally would. D.I.Fix can improve that and it can add a nice boost. Some people may not need it, but I find it can make things sound better in some cases.

Thanks, I watched a video as well, but it seems my Audient interface is OK.

I would cook my own "DI" with Dynamic EQ, and perhaps extra saturation/compressor and shape the DI sound to my liking. Worth a shot. I'm going to try it, but TurboAmp seems capable enough, in it's own right. Anyway, it's giving me ideas to vary the signal in a multitide of ways before it hits TurboAmp/MCab.
