HIVE2 Interface problem

Any idea how can I change interface colors, so GUI is more readable. Grey fonts on gray background are a very, VERY BAD idea. On my Presets screen, unless I use some ZOOM-IN tool, rally cannot read it. Not sure if it is only my setup, or it is standard like this, but at this moment HIVE2 is for me a piece of garbage. VST settings are useless.
I am hoping there is some workaround or I would have to trade my license. Everything else is great about this synth, but certainly not the GUI colors.

I assume you have tried both skins that it comes with?

Also there are some third party gui's for it for sale.

The one I use:

discussed here viewtopic.php?t=582970

and plugmon's guis seem to be popular to some:

but that has a lot of grey too.

You know you change the GUI size of the plugin from 70 up to 200% in 10% increments?
Right-click into an empty area of the GUI to choose a new size, or set a default size in preferences.

It is really very hard to determine if those GUI will be readable on 4K screens (unless installed). BTW I do not even want to change the layout. All I need is more contrast (bright fonts and dark background), nothing else. When I ope ne patch list I feel like I really have some serious problems with my eyes. Yes - I wear glasses, but reading the GUI in Ableton or Studio One dlesn't make me sick (although there are still few minor issues).

Did you, or did you not try larger GUI sizes? Hive looks great on my wide screen at 150%.

You can edit the script file, or you can try my Hive 2 skins, you have a choice of two, and they are free to download and use. They are the only free Hive 2 skins available that share the same hexagon design format as the original Hive design, and they include additional functionality and are designed with good contrast. I will agree that the standard supplied skin is poor in contrast, but it's easy to change via the script file. Editing the graphics files is also an option if you want to go further.

He doesn't need to edit any scripts, he just needs to update to Hive 2.1.1, as he still got Hive 2.0.0 installed. The contrast and readability has been improved a lot since version 2.0.0.
