If mac, build 152 is greatly improved on Apple Silicon because previous updates caused issues due to multi-threading implementation. https://cherryaudio.com/products/gx-80/version-historyMuziksculp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 5:22 pm Has the latest GX-80 update improved your CPU utilization ?

Will it ever support MPE? The pitch bend behavior is strange when set to linear, If I set the range to 16 I get correct tuning up to a 4th, and then to get higher bends, I need to move 3 half steps to get a whole note. That is neither linear in frequency nor in pitch. The semi setting is correct for playing it with an expressive controller…
And please don‘t tell me MPE would not make sense. The Arturia is a joy to play in MPE… I know you know how to implement it. With poly aftertouch you have the bigger part already in place…

That's nice to know, but I'm on Windows 10 (Intel), any CPU efficiency improvements here ?db3 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 10:16 amIf mac, build 152 is greatly improved on Apple Silicon because previous updates caused issues due to multi-threading implementation. https://cherryaudio.com/products/gx-80/version-historyMuziksculp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 5:22 pm Has the latest GX-80 update improved your CPU utilization ?

I know it won't answer your question, but by reducing the voices, I don't need more than 7 for my 10 fingers and bypassing effects I can generally reduce cpu of cpu hungry cherry audio presets a lotMuziksculp wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 6:02 amThat's nice to know, but I'm on Windows 10 (Intel), any CPU efficiency improvements here ?db3 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 10:16 amIf mac, build 152 is greatly improved on Apple Silicon because previous updates caused issues due to multi-threading implementation. https://cherryaudio.com/products/gx-80/version-historyMuziksculp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 5:22 pm Has the latest GX-80 update improved your CPU utilization ?

If you want the Vangelis CS-80 sound, the closest to that I´ve seen/heard in VST-format this far is this preset library for Omnisphere by Luftrum, I own it and it´s really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsDY4WbvNJk
