Swing using latency generator

Hi, I just discovered that applying latency generator to one of my racks gives a nice swing groove to my lead sound, which I cannot achieve using the regular swing controls. Is there a way to control it during the arrangement playback? I'd like the swing to be applied as a rhythm effect at the end of each 8 bars.
