EDIT:
I have made a serious mistake in the original post (see bellow). I mixed few terms together resulting in a complete mess. So, once again :-D :

Dear Tracktion!
During the mixing process I run into several problems concerning freezing Tracks.
TLDR: would it be possible to freeze Tracks with Sends (of any sort)?
In detail: I have discovered, it wasn't possible to freeze Sends. These include:
  • Classic Send/Return Track.
  • Tracks routed to another Track via the Output dialog.
  • Track with the Sidechain (I suppose, Sidechains are just another form of Sends).
I also realized it's not possible to freeze a multitrack instrument (drums are a good example). When I wrap the drum synth into a Rack, copy it across multiple Tracks, I can freeze only the first Track with the MIDI clip. All other instances don't get any MIDI data after freezing.
The Freeze Point is an outstanding feature as is, but it could be ethereal! :-D

And one more thing: dear Tracktion, are you reading this forum? It's been a long while since any of you answered any thread here. We are getting nervous a bit... ;-) Thank you.

I leave the original post here for study reasons (someone could run into similar problems in the future :-D).
Dear Tracktion!
I'd like to ask you to consider doing some tracks freezing changes. I don't know if it's even possible, but here's my point of view:
Your approach to freezing track is unparalleled among all DAWs. The Freeze point is an awesome feature. Or better... It COULD BE! But... I often freeze tracks just before I go mixing. Having some EQs, compressors, etc. on every track and every bus is quite CPU hungry.
This is the time I freeze all synths. Then I'm tweaking one and every Track (adding Equalizers, compressors, distortions, delays, reverbs, you got it ;-) ). And when done I just move the Freeze point behind the additional plugins. GREAT! But now here comes time to do the same with buses. And voila! I can't freeze Tracks routed to Submixes anymore. Only whole Submixes! This is the first issue.
I could pass it freezing only buses (Submixes) I'm not working on, but any plugin using a sidechain input doesn't listen to this sidechain. Even if the sidechain source isn't freezed at the moment. During the freeze process, all sidechains simply become silent. This is the second issue.
So, although the Freeze point is such a unique feature, in its current state it's almost unusable.
My request(s) is(are):
Please, make possible to freeze individual Tracks even if they are routed to a Submix track...
OR Please, allow sidechain on the Tracks/Submixes that are being freezed.

And one more thing. Please, be so kind and let us know, you read the forum. There is a long-lasting silence from the Tracktion team, and we are becoming quite nervous. Just tell me, it's not possible, and we're done. But say something ;-)

Just edit out the bits that you don't like and maybe leave a note saying why.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.
