Whoah, I really love the one for the 19th. It'd fit right in on the Make Noise compilation album featuring the Strega.

btw, i am reading comments, just finding it hard to keep up with a)doing the tracks b) listening to others and c) replying.

but i will get to them in due time 8) and thanks all for the kind words :)
This is my favorite from the Jamuaries. I think you always have a call-and-response mixed in, but I really liked this. The melodies were nice and it constantly evolved.

cvilization mucorder mode for sequencing.
Very cool soundscape vurt. You can certainly get some amazing sounds from your gear. Are you controlling it much or do you just get it started and sit back? This has echoes of a Calliope!

it depends what the piece is, there's always some of both to be honest, otherwise it gets boring both to listen to and record.
but how much i interact, is different in say a mellow drone, where i may occasionally adjust one or two bits, then let it play a while before touching it again. something with a bit more going on, i might have to do the mixing, changing pitches on sequencers, switching in and out fx...

it's all totally improvised so at present mostly unrepeatable. but i am looking at various methods of "scoring" so i can do similar if not the same again in the future.

thanks for listening, and keep the tracks coming too :D

civilization using the mucorder, one channel mutates randomly (random burst trigger) on the filter, while the notes on xpo are the same (until i flip polarity) 8)

strega playing the notes, the filter is using too.

call and response comes from just xpan doing a cross fade.

glad you liked 8)
on to 20 and then tomorrow catch up with some more listening :D

I'm starting to regret not buying the xpan in addition to the XPO (still not in stock).

strega (panning) modulated by 0coast (which is doing nothing else here)
xpo/qpas for the resonant bits.
two west pests for the dunk!
clocked by wobble bug/sequenced by rene, with a channel of malekko voltage block and some lfos (of course)
even more of course, finished with a little bit (lots) of mimeophon :D

Still going to go back and check the earlier stuff, but watched this one live.

Nice work. It has some strong full on orchestral vibes in there. Makes the system sound massive (not the outdated sound Massive, but a regular lower case massive).

id have waved hello if I knew you were watching 8)

orchestral vibes! not bad for 3 mono oscillators (only used one out on the xpo).
im enjoying the doepfer module, not used it much since the move, as my current chair has no wheels and it's in the far rack which pretty much gets ignored  so simple yet full of sounds!
same with the east beast, although that's nearer so doesn't get ignored so much :hihi: but the range of tones is amazing.

thanks for watching 8)
