I have to say that i'm lost inside this compressor, it's incredible and the more i tune it the more i love it.
I was able to recreate other 2 compressors i like the sounds, anyway i'm struggling with another one, i'm still too much noob so i need some help :)

Basically the compressor i want to emulate is RCA BA-6A, to my understanding it's a pretty slow compressor, but i found no technical infos on internet. If anyone have some info about attack, release and ratio please feel free to write it there.

Anyway the most "weird" things i noticed it's the way he react to the signal. I see from the GR meter it start to apply compression but if an higher peak occour while he is already compressing, he seems to ignore it or at least just to hold the release in a very gentle way.
I made my trials on MTurboComp but i got no success to achieve this kind of behaviour, the signal that run into the compressor for my tests and use case it's a vocal track. Do anyone know if is possible and how can i achieve this behavior?

Thanks

Ciao, grazie mille per i link!!!!

I have another question.
Is it possible to create a compressor that reduce the level by a certain ammount of GR regardles the input level?
This is useful to tame peaks on certain audio with different dynamics, without smashing the louder part

Use the Processors \ Range control to set the maximum decibel reduction.

I tried, but somehow doesn't sound really natural, but i have to try it a bit more, maybe with a different approach.
Thanks for the tips!
