mulab 9 how stop can jump to startpos and how controller 9 can use for start stop switch ?

I test the mulab 9 demo and i position the cursor to bar 4. then when hit play it play and when stop it should jump back to bar 4. how can i change this ?. other sequencer have a option (stop jump to startpos) for this and can choose when press right mouse button over play button

I have a midi keyboard with no start stop button. i wish use a controller button of my midi keyboard. can i map start stop of mulab to controller 9 ?

start stop with space bar often work not correct when a plugin is select.

if mulab have global shortcuts to define that work always is ok too. i have a elcomp trackball . this have lots additional buttons

By default the spacebar is mapped to "Play/Stop-And-Return".
This means that if you position on bar 4, click play and click play again, MuLab will stop and return to bar 4. If that's not the case check MULAB menu -> Shortcuts and see what the spacebar is mapped to. Or if you don't want the "return" then map spacebar to simple "Play/Stop".

You can create a similar shortcut for a MIDI CC.
Send the MIDI CC while the Add Shortcut dialog is open.

default was Play/Stop. I canged to play/stop and-return and good also the GUI play button do then play/stop and return

when have a midi keyboard with a start stop button does then mulab start stop too ?. how does the midi start stop button work ? . maybe i can that simulate with my midi keyboard ?. i can define controllers and value for buttons

To make MuLab do Play/Stop-And-Return upon an incoming MIDI CC you have to create a shortcut similar to the key shortcut to Play/Stop-And-Return but instead of the shortcut being triggered by a key it is triggered by the incoming MIDI CC event. To define which CC event, send the MIDI CC while the Add Shortcut dialog is open.

I create now a shortcut for controller 9 and play/stop-and-return . problem is it do not toggle switch. it play as long i press the controller 9 button. in studio one it do toggle switch automatic. a short press of controller 9 switch sequencer on. another short press of controller 9 switch it off. can i do this in mulab too ?

I notice in midi editor when press alt and click on note it can hear. maybe there is a way during drag for transpose a note to keep press alt and the note is hear for transpose ?. because hear on transpose is usefull for slice changes and change notes to sound good to chord

Open the shortcut dialog for that shortcut again, click Options -> Define Value 2 Range and set it to 127-127. That way only value 127 (MIDI CC button down) will trigger the shortcut and so first it starts playing, pressing the MIDI button again will Stop-And-Return.
