Managed to reproduce the error. If the soft cursor is outside the midi clip, the notes are played short. As soon as you move the cursor to the clip area, playback is normal (this behavior is not permanent! but, very, very often).
In addition, I found two more bugs:
1. When inserting a tool/plugin using "+", the program cursor moves under the popup menu for calling plugins, that is, closer to the right side of the program, to plugins. Behavior is intermittent, it doesn't work with all plugins. it seems that "the program does not understand" that the plug-in is being selected and inserted now, and not moving the program cursor.
2. If you have created a new project, you have 8 tracks open by default. On the left and right sides (entrance and exit), under track 8, there are empty, unoccupied zones. If you click on these areas, the program cursor also moves/jumps to the area on which you clicked. That is, clicked on an empty space on the right - the cursor moved closer to the right side of the screen, clicked on the left - moved to the left. It is not comfortable!
Now I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature?)))

Hello! The first bug that you described, I did not meet, and could not reproduce. I created a midi clip, entered some long notes into it, and set it to 4OSC as an instrument with a standard preset. No matter where my cursor is, the notes play at the same length. Maybe it's because I have Waveform 12 Free Version.
I occasionally encounter the bug you described below. When I open the pop-up plugin selector and click on any plugin, then my mouse click seems to click on the timeline at the same time, moving the cursor to that location. Sometimes it's really annoying)
Moving the cursor by clicking on an empty space is a feature) If you wish, you can disable this feature in the menu:
Settings > General > Mouse > Clicking the background locates the cursor.
In the same place you can set the behavior of the program for other mouse clicks and when scrolling the wheel)

I need this feature, but not when I insert a plugin into a track. Disabling the feature is not a compromise)Yulian wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 8:41 pm I occasionally encounter the bug you described below. Unfortunately, clicking on the timeline when choosing a plugin is not disabled in the settings, because this is a bug, in my opinion)nowgad wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 10:39 pm I need this feature, but not when I insert a plugin into a track. Disabling the feature is not a compromise)
But my message about disabling cursor movement by clicking on an empty space was the answer to this last question of your post)nowgad wrote: Tue Feb 14, 2023 11:07 am 2.
