just checking by, loving this plugin after all those years but also worried about plugins not being updated much anymore and silence devs/companies. is this plugin abandoned?

Short answer: No, it's not been abandoned, although I understand why you might think that. The Apple Silicon version has been far more difficult to do than I expected initially.
