Hi all, you might remember my Ronald 601 mux which I made a few years back. I wasn't happy with it, so I decided to revisit this project.

After a couple of weeks work I have made the "Juno 106 Tribute" mux synth, which I have dropped into the google drive Mux Library:

I have painstakingly tried to recreate the famed chorus section using spec sheets and modulation data described on several websites. I've also listened to the chorus effect next to the Juno 106 plugin; Its pretty close.

Chorus type I or II is simply done by turning the speed from min (I) to max (II). Chorus type 3 is not catered for on my mux; not yet anyway.

The Tribute's filter is just the 2 pole type (12dB) so there's none of the self oscillation of the real thing. The Mux's 4 pole filter sounds more like a Moog, so I didn't opt for the 4 pole. Apart from the 2 pole filter's characteristic differences the mux is great for making Junoesque sounds, especially when the chorus is used.

The graphic EQ is a classic passive 7 band type which is quick and pleasing to use; give it a go.

I have also dropped this Mux into the Mux Library area:

I hope you enjoy these tools. Any Feedback appreciated :)

Thx for sharing these MUX presets FSM77!

Attached a zip file with the Juno 106 Tribute presets upgraded to M8 and thus compatible with M9.
