Additional tabs, custom MXXX device

Hello! I`m trying to build a simple MXXX device (channel strip), and so far everything is going great. I`m pretty new with it but I`ve managed to make it look nice
I was wondering, is it possible to create additional tabs? For example, it would be cool to put an EQ and compressor on tab 1, and Stereo processing and saturation on tab 2.
Thank you!

Yes, it's very easy ... but it's been a while for me, so I can't give you the recipe off the top of my head. Just find a not-too-complicated preset that's got multiple tabs (at whatever level you want) and see how that was done. It should be pretty obvious. That's how I learned to do it.

Ok, thank you very much!
I will check it out. Actually thought about it as well. I was looking into the manual but its really huge and complicated
, and the task seems to be easy and small

HI AlexShesha, here's an example MXXX1 with tabs.
The trick is to add a "#" at the end of a group name, in the example, group1# and group2#. Hope this helps, hopefully chatgtp will give us usable documentation one day, cause it sure ain't a big priority for melda.

The way Melda documentation works, not every bit of needed information makes it into the "manuals". This trick may be one of those things. You soon learn to develop your mprogramming skills by searching for examples before spending too much time digging through the manuals.AlexShesha wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 8:07 am I was looking into the manual but its really huge and complicated

Oh, ok! It would be awesome if someday Melda could put a full manual for everything, in some comfortable way. I can imagine the size and amount of work needed... I would probably hire one more person for that.dmbaer wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 10:13 pmThe way Melda documentation works, not every bit of needed information makes it into the "manuals". Well, just place your mouse over Group field and press F1 or ctrl+H, or use the "?" button
