Introducing Dedalus Delay
The ultimate real-time audio delay mangler.

This is the first plugin created by Aqusmatiq Audio, a company founded by three experienced audio software developers and musicians: Maurizio Giri (Amazing Noises), Alessandro Petrolati (apeSoft), and Diego Capoccitti.

The plugin features a network of delay lines that are granulated and modulated, resulting in a truly unique and labyrinthine soundscape of echoes. Dedalus also features filters, dynamic and saturation processors with which you can create a virtually infinite range of effects.

You can add reverb-like ambiences to your tracks, create evolving resonances, add rhythmic pulsations, or layer sounds in chaotic and unpredictable ways. What sets Dedalus apart is its ability to generate amazing organic and evolving soundscapes, from subtle chorus effects to pure noise. With its intuitive interface and wide range of parameters, Dedalus makes creating truly unique and immersive sound experiences easy.

Dedalus Delay main features
  • The delay can be set in rhythmic values, in seconds and also as MIDI note pitches (resonances)
  • The delay time can be continuously varied and granulated.
  • The feedback can be set up to 200% to create infinite ever-changing resonances. A limiter within the feedback circuit prevents the uncontrolled increase in sound volume.
  • Two cascaded fourth-order filters (low-pass and high-pass) allow shaping of the sound spectrum within the feedback loop.
  • The overdrive module creates a warm distortion that gives depth to the sound.
  • The duck/gate dynamics processor allows the sound produced by the delay to "breathe" along with the rhythmic accents of the incoming sound.
  • The plugin has 8 modulators that can be used to vary all parameters. One modulator can modulate another modulator and even modulate itself! You can draw the waveform of the modulator, use a step sequencer or a random waveform generator.
Dedalus Delay is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats and is compatible with macOS and Windows. It runs on all major DAWs such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, etc.

the $19 intro price is a no brainer. this thing sounds great and the modulation system is very flexible and it has groove. even if someone has a folder full of delay plug ins this is a must have in my opinion. nice work!

Yup.

Pulled the trigger on this after running the demo for a while.

Amazing feature set. The mod section is particularly well laid out and there are 8 individual modulation sources.

The pitch mode is a lot of fun!

It looks like the same feature set as Sandman Pro, will demo anyway.

I’ll definitely demo it, I’m really liking the look of Cluster Delay though, so will compare together. Did you try Cluster Delay?

great !......just:
i can´t register it.

there are two lines:
in which one is the "dedalus1" to place ? upper or lower ?
edit: ok, this seems to go upper row.

then i got a number called: serial keys.
i´d figure, this goes then to the other line.
edit: thats the serial, alos shown at the isotonik studios account, right ?
or is there anything other ? in case there is, i´ve allready deleted it

tryed both, can´t register.

Hi, it is
Serial Key: upper line
Installation Code (dedalus1): lower line

If you can't register please issue a ticket at isotonikstudios

ok, thanks !
still can´t register / its completly confusing ( at least, here it was) , please rework.
when i´d press the red "dedalus1", it is applyed to the first row. But that seems wrong, then.

i´ll put it into demo mode now, and open a ticket now.
Thanks for chimming in

edit: OK, i entered DEMO mode, and tryed "then" again to register.

"Then" it was taking it !......so its registered now !
Great !

Hi, you don't have to press "dedalus1"; it is a simple text, not a button. Just type dedalus1 in the lower line (the one that says "Installation Code")

(@Aqusmatiq sorry for cross-posting if anything, just i did not get reply thru FB pm's)

Updated: SOLVED (got reply).

Udated2:
After demoing, nice mangler actually. Yes, as near competitor is come to mind Sandman Pro too. The only thing, i'm not sure about modulators complexity, but some unusual interaction\sound exhaust compensates for this here. Also captivated some fresh design of modulators. Definitely plug's character worth to has it own place.
CPU usage ok, mostly about 2-3%, can up to 6% with extreme mod amounts.

No Mix Lock.
Can you add that please?
