MWaveShaper - shouldn't gain structure be fixed?

Hello,

maybe this has been discussed already, but I just wanted to bring it into focus again.

While MWaveFolder and MSaturator have dry/wet at the end of the gain sequence (so that FIRST the output gain is applied to the wet signal THEN the dry/wet control can define the balance between dry and "gained already" wet signal) WaveShaper has the opposite, which in my opinion is not optimal.

For one, it makes it very difficult to make comparisons because generally the waveshaped signal has usually quite a different volume compared to the dry signal.

I think that the dry/wet control, in this plugin too, should work after the output gain for the wet signal is applied.
I know that inverting them now would have a relevant impact on backward compatibility, but is there a chance for an option or an MWaveShaper2 plugin with adjusted gain and wet/dry structure?

Thanks,
Mario
