Hello,
New user, how can I select a clip that is behind another clip without moving top clip to another track or to the side?
I've checked the manual but can't find a way.
Thanks
Selecting clip behind another

You have to move mouse over the "hidden" clip and press the mouse button.
To make it a bit easier go to the settings tab, uncheck Appearance|Clips|Link clip color to track color, and change the color of the upper clip

When the top clip is selected/highlighted press ALT HOME or ALT END to switch between layers

So neither suggestions are working for me.
Just clicking on a top clip won't make something underneath come to the top.
Alt+Home/End seems to apply to clips within a selection but if I alt-drag over two clips to select them then Alt+Home will jump to some other (linked clip) thats not even in the selection!
What I did find that works reasonably well is clicking the visible clip then Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Z (Move Selected Clips to back of Z-order) which can be used to cycle through them.
I'm only in need of this because I want to compare play back one clip at a time in order to compare them (muting the other clip). I could duplicate the whole track and have a unique clip on each one but that just seams excessive.
