I think Thermal by Output it's an amazing tool, a very easy to use basic UI, with lots of good presets you can use as they are, or as starting point, and a crazy advanced mode where you can do lots of stuff.
Output doesn't seems to care to much about that, i mean they seems focussed on Arcade, so i would really love a great alternative, and i think this is something Melda could shine with.

Distortion and saturation for sound design. It's hard to explain it further, cause it's a very deep and capable plugin, with lots of possibilities.
The main UI it's very clean and easy, just 2 knobs an XY pad and a wet/dry slider. The 2 knobs change the accordingly to the preset. It looks like something made from Melda, i mean the concept of a very deep and capable advanced tab, but with a very easy to use main UI.
I don't know if they offer a demo, but you should try it, cause it's a very good plugin
