I was wondering if there are any UI templates for Maize? GUI editor is pretty straightforward and easy to go around, but as I'm not a UI designer or graphic designer and I would like to get pretty nice looking plugin, I was wondering if there are any UI templates that I can use? Is there a place where I can purchase them, or maybe someone out of forum members would help me out?

You can buy commercial UI kits from UI Mother: https://uimother.com
Or you could hire someone to design the UI assets for you, like VST Designs https://vstdesigns.com or Noise Head https://noisehead.net/
I haven't used any of these personally - they're just what I found searching online.
Also search places like Behance and Dribbble for designers who have made VST UI assets. They might let you use them for free, or for a fee.
Maize uses film strips for custom knobs and side-by-side images for image buttons. Level meters can be either alpha mode or 'reveal' mode. The new VU meter also uses a film strip.
You can make your own film strip knobs and VU meter using Knobman: https://www.g200kg.com/en/webknobman/
It's quite an old tool but still does a very good job of making film strip images.

I use Affinity Designer for my GUI designs but any illustration or design app will work fine. Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Inkscape, whatever. As long as it has the basic design features you'll be fine.
For my plugins I start with the base texture - brushed metal to look like a rack unit usually. Then add the keyboard at the bottom, if it needs one. Then add a screen area to display the preset name and other settings. This is where I choose the fonts. My plugins usually have LCD/LED style fonts. If the specific font I need doesn't exist I'll make it in FontStruct: https://fontstruct.com
Then start layout out the controls I need like Attack, Release, Reverb, Volume, etc. If I have room I'll add a basic level meter or if space is tight maybe just a bright LED image using the alpha mode to fade it in and out with output level.
Whether the knobs need to look like they're turning or just look like a set of numbers going from, say 00-99, I'll still use Knobman for both types. I design the basic look of the knob in Affinity designer first then reproduce the design in Knobman and improve with lighting, shadows and the rotation animation. Then export the film strip from Knobman and add it to the Maize GUI.

I'm working on templates for Maize Sampler (and other samplers) that will be available at a fair price. I'll link them in this thread when they're ready.dawidkijuc wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:23 pm I was wondering if there are any UI templates for Maize? Hi SampleScience, Just wondering if you ever came out with those Maize sampler GUI templates or if it's something you are still working on/planning?
Thank you!
Thank you!

I still plan to make them; I've just been really busy during the last couple of months. Much more work than expected!Synthmaster1985 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 2:33 pm Hi SampleScience, Just wondering if you ever came out with those Maize sampler GUI templates or if it's something you are still working on/planning?

I could manage to find time to do this for anyone asking.
