Hi, could someone help me? I'm trying to link several DAWs together (audio wise). I've installed JACK virtual cable. Everything works as expected except that Waveform has only four outputs assigned. I would need more. I can't find where to set the number of outputs in Waveform or JACK. Please, can someone help me? Thanks!

Hi, WF sees and uses the amount of JACK server ports. I's how many your soundcard got.

We're talking about https://jackaudio.org/
I believe, it should serve as a virtual audio cable within your computer. Yes, the final outs count is defined by HW. But internally - between each DAW - there should be any number of 'cables' available. Mixbus32c creates new ins/outs as I create new tracks. But Waveform stays at 4, no matter what.

Thank you! Unfortunately, there is no binary to download for Windows, and I'm not able to build one by myself (if it's even possible). But I found a workaround. I can set the default outputs number in the JACK ini file, so Waveform now opens with the set number of outputs, which works just fine (for now) ![Very Happy :-D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
