Hey folks,
so the new beta is out! Lots of changes and mainly check the new 2 plugins:
- MGuitarArchitect - it was there before, but now it may be ready! And has lots of presets.
- MDrumStrip - a new thing - the mixing solution for acoustic drums. Lots of love in this one! :)
Let me know what you think.

Changes:

[MTurboAmp] Added metal bass amp Basstard, guitar amps Artemis, Nyx and Tulsa, and overdrive pedal Snack overdrive.
Added filter band graphs for better visualization to all equalizers.
Added “Fix all targets” feature to GUI designer.
[MSuperLooper] Added support for different lengths of loops in the main track and removed limitations of this track.
[MSuperLooper] Changed logic of reset loop button on each track.
[MSoundFactory] Random button in Wavetable module now creates random waves instead of loading a random preset.
[MTurboFilter] Added new channel module that allows processing only of selected channels.
[MFreeformEqualizer] Added “EQ on smoothness change” option to automatic equalizer module.
[MDrummer] Added ability to send rooms and OHs to Send channels.
[MAutoAlign] Removed “Sleep on silence” feature as that had no effect and caused problems with analysis.
Plugins now store undo points when adding/removing parameters from multi parameters and modulators.
Added “Pitch detection mode” parameter to various places, which use a pitch detector, such as MTuner, modulators etc.
Minor improvements and fixes.

Fix: Unnamed group of MPs after another named group created an unnamed panel in the device GUI.
Fix: Band solo/mute did not work for eq graphs in MEqualizerLP and MAutoEqualizerLP.
[MSuperLooper] Fix: The very first loop can be recorded in any position(1-4) of the track now.
[MSuperLooper] Fix: Option “Recording stops at main loop” did not work in Sync mode and Default bars set to OFF.
[MSuperLooper] Fix: Clear track button disappearing on track with loops.
[MTurboFilter] Fix: Plugin crashed if visualization was ON and set other than 2-channel setup.
[MMetronome] Fix: MMetronome was causing double-hits in some cases.
[MFreeformEqualizer] Fix: Dry/wet was affecting automatic equalization.
Fix: Preset backup restore was failing.
Fix: VST2.x and VST3 GUI plugin size issues under macOS with multiple displays used.
Fix: GUI has sometimes been resized in some rare conditions.
[MDrummer] Fix: Exporting MIDI commands from Song tab didn’t export the Index as velocity.
[MAutoAlign] Fix: Analysis didn’t produce correct results when each instances was used with a different sampling rates (rare case with DAWs allowing that).

I haven't installed it yet, but is that an analyzer/crossover on an easy screen? Is that now possible for user created devices too?

Has anyone else problems with the Windows installer? Download is corrupt.

Post

Yes. The File generates an error message!

I really like the workflow of the drumstrip. Really intuitive and fast. Maybe we will see a whole series of strips in the future, like vocal, bass, guitar and so on. Great work. Thanks a lot

+1 for several strips

I just took a very short look at the drumstrip. My first impression is that the interfaces of the several "sub-products" (selection on the left) are somewhat inconsistent. This does not have to be a problem, but I would like the different processing chains to be more unified from the GUI perspective.

Another thing is the debate about product manuals for Melda. This plugin could be a good starting point for custom manuals that are not generated from code. I would like to see one for the drum strip.

 Thank you folks!

ralfrobert: The GUIs are different, because the processing is different. Also to make it easier to visually recognize what is what.
As for helps - well, this is a plugin for a very specific purpose. But most plugins are. Imagine writing a docs for a compressor. That could take a book and since asking 10 producers about compressors leads to 11 answers :D, that could be quite problematic too ;)

Understood. However ...

(1) If you look at the placement of the "gate" for bass drum, it is on the left. Big and on the top right for tom. Labels on the left are in italics for master, upright in overheads. Rotary knobs in "parallel" are other ones than in "tom". To summarize, I like the custom interfaces of MTurboReverb a lot more, as they are more regular, more unified, while still showing the difference (picture in the middle). And I have the opinion that design matters a lot. Some people do not care, I know. And by the way: I think we all recognize the amount of love that went into making this plugin.

(2) This plugin seems to be more aimed at people who do not use the edit screen. If, for example, cookbook-like manuals are planned, this new product would make up an ideal starting point. That's all I'm saying. And I think it's worth trying something like this. If nobody likes it, so be it. But I have the feeling other manuals would be appreciated.

Pitch detection mode sounds like an awesome addition Ive wanted for a while, be interesting to see which plugins are using it

MDrumStrip is Great!

macOS Ventura 13.3.1 notifies that MDownloader.app is broken and suggests that it be put in the Trash.
This warning was observed in Melda 16.04 and 16.05a.

This may cause some presets in MSoundFactory to lose the sound files they are using.

I am using an Intel MacBookPro(2019)

Mdrumstrip seems to be an just by ears tool for frequencies. I'm not finding any hints for what frequencies I'm working on, even in the frequency graph. Someone else missing frequency values?
