What is this setting for?

When you load a preset the MUX memorizes the preset file path, which makes it easy to do "Revert To Preset File". That preset file name also is the default name for that MUX. Unlink From Preset File simply forgets about the original preset file path.

I'm curious, why would you want to do that?

For example if you drastically changed the MUX.
There may be other cases i don't immediately remember atm but i do know i use it from time to time.

I just use Save As

FYI: When a MUX is part of a project, it's not always saved as a separate preset file.
