Hi all.
My first post since dumping Digital Performer for Tracktion.
What a relief it is to have a stable DAW for once.
I run an older Mac G4 and it handles things better.
Personally I think it sounds punchier than DP..but thats another story.
I've used Logic and DP for years and have no trouble understanding Tracktion after the bloated code of the other two.
I think I'd got to grips with it in about 30 mins.!!
The only problem I've come across is that for the life of me I cant figure how to record the re-wired audio of Reason.
Does it have to bounce to disc from the master fader or do I have to quit and export from reason?
I dont mind doing that cus DP was a dog at handling re-wire in OS9.1.
It would like to render seperate tracks direct into Tracktion though.
I'm probably missing something really simple.
It's been said before but a serious big up to Jules for a creating a damn fine program.
Reason into audio,how to?

if youve done some sequencing inside reason, stick an empty midi clip in Traktion on the rewire track, then render. whatever you had sequenced in reason should now be a rendered wave in traktion.

does it matter how long or where the midi clip is?
does it have to be as long as the reason clip I want to render as audio?
It seems a bit odd not to be able to record direct to any track as long as their wired up correctly.
Anyhow thanks for the tip and I'll give it try.[/i]
