So basically, some years ago I was in touch with a fellow composer who made this song:
JKOL - Distant Lands
He told me he has used U-he's Zebra for the synth sounds, but couldn't remember which preset. Besides the percussions, everything, including the cello was recorded by him. Since then we've been out of touch because life.
My question to you guys, what preset is he using or how can I recreate/get that particular sound at 0:50? It sounds so amazing to me. Thank you!
Looking for a sound/preset for U-he's Zebra

Sounds like a simple triangle wave into a HEAVILY driven 24dB lowpass filter. Legato with a touch of glide. Lots of reverb. Pretty simple lead patch.

It could be a saw wave though. It's just so heavily filtered. He might have used the "LP MidDrive" or "LP OldDrive" filters...or maybe the "LP Vintage" ones.

That just sounds like some simple trills in legato mode with a bit of glide.Chris-S wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 6:08 pm Don't forget that stuttering effect (or is there a glitch in the video?).
