Dear Tracktion Team,
Many common digital multitrack recorders (such as Mackie DL32R or Behringer X32/Midas M32 mixers) produce multichannel WAV files. Please support this format to finally enable direct editing/mixing of live recordings in Waveform. As is, only the first 2 channels will be loaded as a stereo track. I'm aware of the recommended tedious and wasteful (storage) workaround, but really folks, it's 2023 and you might as well catch up to this 15-year-old, extremely useful extension of the WAV format.

I'm not sure what you were expecting but the devs don't really come here any more, so you're really just talking to other users.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
