Source: https://twitter.com/spcplugins/status/1 ... 8859831304Just a quick note to say SPC Plugins is still here, still working on ArcSyn, and still working on new projects. My next release will be ArcSyn v4.0.4 which will include native macOS M1 support. More on this soon.

Ooh, Steven tweaked the fun factor with more info and speed in the displays!

One problem though, I had saved all patches to NKS for Komplete Kontrol, 4.03 was still able to load them into the VST3 version but 4.04 can't - I guess there are too many changes under the hood?

VST3 crashes constantly for me in bitwig on Mac Ventura. I don’t have the beta release though I don’t think. Is that what fixes it? I currently run the vst2 x64 which seems solid.

I can't install ArcSyn 4.04. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

Hi. My apologies for not replying sooner. Could you be more specific than "crashfest" as it tells me nothing. On my Win 10 machine it works perfectly as far as I can tell. Is this a Win 11 specific issue? Has anyone else had any problems with v4.0.4 on Win 11 - or any other version of Windows, for that matter?pekbro wrote: Wed Jul 31, 2024 11:13 pm Ver 4 is a crashfest for me as well... the old version too sadly. win 11...

by crashfest i meant it did not work
at all for me. The only thing i can report
is that it did not work in any host.
I can try it again if you have a newer
build... thx

Hi. Have you tried the v4.0.4 beta at http://www.spcplugins.com/beta? If not, please let me know how you get on with it.

Hi Steven, I just downloaded the very latest and it won't install on my hard drive. I get the error message "Arcsyn can't be installed on this disk." I've had it running on this computer and never had this error with any other software before and I install a lot of software daily. You may already know about this but wanted to respond with my issue.SPC Plugins wrote: Sat Oct 12, 2024 2:03 pm Hi. Have you tried the v4.0.4 beta at http://www.spcplugins.com/beta? It might be a permissions issue. I just noticed after installing 4.0.4 that Dropbox couldn't sync the contents (this is the first time I've installed ArcSyn on a relatively new machine, running Sonoma). The folder is owned by root rather than the user: it's possible this has thrown the installer.

This version is working fine for me, not sure what the issue was with the earlier beta, but the issueSPC Plugins wrote: Sat Oct 12, 2024 2:03 pm Hi. Have you tried the v4.0.4 beta at http://www.spcplugins.com/beta? If not, please let me know how you get on with it.
