I just recorded something without the click turned on, as a sketch. The project tempo was set to the DAW's default, which is 120BPM.
In this situation, I sometimes use the tap tempo function of MMetronome to work out something close to the tempo I played, or something that fits.
This time, I wanted to enter different numbers to see what worked, but I can't find any way to do that within MMetronome. It seems tied to the DAW tempo with the only way to change it being the tap tempo.
Is this the way it is, MMetronome is always locked to the DAW tempo except for tap tempo? Am I just missing a control?
MMetronome locked to the project tempo?

Yes, MMetronome is always in sync. For tap I either use tap in MDrummer or in Reaper.
