It's maybe a nice reminder that I have too many plugins installed, but using the tags in the Browser -> Search doesn't have any effect at all on the list.

Yeah this was working before. For now tho ( another workaround ) , I have noticed that you have to actually click into the search bar and press 'Enter' or start typing to get the search to focus. Obviously select any tags you are wanting to search.
I've reported this to the developers, so hopefully a fix comes along soon.
