I just inherited an IBM Thinkpad 365XD laptop from my in-laws (well, I guess "inherited" is the wrong word, as they didn't die or anything, they just upgraded to a new laptop), and it's an old one (1998, I think) with Windows 95 on it and only 24 MB of RAM. For what it is it runs pretty decent, so if nothing else, I'll use it for writing some Word docs, but I'm wondering if there's any MIDI sequencing/editing software out there that could actually run on this thing. I don't care about the sounds being any good, but sometimes I do some tweaking of MIDI parts and drum patterns and it can get tedious, so the laptop would be nice to do some of that on. Maybe an old tracker program? I don't know... I got into the MIDI game kind of late, so I'm sure somebody was using something a few years back on a laptop like this, and I'd like to know what it is.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Shaz
OT: MIDI software with very minimal system requirements?

A few years ago I used a free midi sequencer call Jazz++. It was quite capable at the time. It is now opensource, but there haven't been much development done recently. You can find it at http://www.jazzware.com. You'll find versions for both Win95 and WinNT. Be sure to pick the right one!
Anvil Studio may well be a suitable choice if you're able to spend a few bucks on RAM, as it requires a minimum of 64Mb. Anvil is free too, and can be found at http://www.anvilstudio.com

Voyetra made Sequencer Plus Gold available for free download a year or two back, one of the biggies in it's day I believe (DOS program but don't let that put you off, no nonsense editting that some people still swear by today).
If you can find a version of Cakewalk Express then that would certainly do, i used to run that on a 486 (i think your lappys an early pentium machine? 100mhz or so?)
