I see AI being used to "clone" vocals to let them sing your music.
Since this tech come out i was asking myself if (hopefully when) Melda will make that kind of tool.

That would be great, but very hard to do. I use Vocaloid for this, and it looks like very complex tech.

Not anymore. There are new techs able to do a good enough job. Very different from Vocaloid.garrettendi wrote: Fri Jun 23, 2023 9:42 am That would be great, but very hard to do. I use Vocaloid for this, and it looks like very complex tech.
Right now i see online services offering that, along an open source code you need to compile and setup yourself, not really handy.
It's certainly not perfect yet, but close to something you may want to use. Ofc a good singer is still in another level, but certain genre with real singers sounds more artificial than AI

Did you saw all these stuff?MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 2:02 pm Some day perhaps. So far whatever I changed was, ehm, far far far from usable.
There are also video showing how to, where you can even train a voice...
To me sounds real enough to make an easier product to use, cause what you can find on github is not really user friendly

Vocalstrip sounds like something an eq, ds, comp and such packed together, and we already have this stuff even if it's not a strip, i prefer a virtual singerUnderoath77 wrote: Sun Jul 02, 2023 5:05 am MVocalstrip would be greatFrankie.T wrote: Tue Jun 27, 2023 5:54 amDid you saw all these stuff?MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 2:02 pm Some day perhaps.
