They write this:
"Upgrade price calculation
We subtract 70% of what you have spent so far for the products included in a bundle (or product) you wish upgrade to.
If we have no record of the price you paid (ie you bought from a reseller) we assume you bought at 50% off (hence it is advantageous to purchase from us directly if you plan to upgrade.) Minimum upgrade price is € 10."
I think I bought MSF LE for 50% off and additionally used my $10 Newsletter subscription. So I paid something like $40 for it. So my discount on the Upgrade ends up being only 11%. (291 instead of 328).

I think you should get the upgrade when it is on sale.

In any case, I’ve been demoing MSF over the last few days and like it quite a bit, but I keep getting audio crackling and cpu spikes (my system specs below), I tried it at a buffer of 128 (my usual) and up to 512 (a bit better but not glitch free) - Is it that much of a cpu hog (for reference, other cpu heavy VSTs like Omnisphere and IKM SampleTank work without a hitch)???
Specs:
- Mac Pro 6,1 w/128GB RAM, 1TB SSD
- latest Monterey, latest Logic Pro
- RME FF UFX+ over TB

No, they just assume it was 50% off. So you might actually end up getting a bigger discount if you bought it somewhere else during a bigger salesafari70 wrote: Fri Jul 28, 2023 4:32 pm Ok thanks… so if you buy it from a 3rd party, they actually ask you how much you paid for LE?? Interesting…

Can't really speak to your specific setup, all I can say is it runs fine on my laptopsafari70 wrote: Fri Jul 28, 2023 4:38 pm In any case, I’ve been demoing MSF over the last few days and like it quite a bit, but I keep getting audio crackling and cpu spikes (my system specs below), I tried it at a buffer of 128 (my usual) and up to 512 (a bit better but not glitch free) - Is it that much of a cpu hog (for reference, other cpu heavy VSTs like Omnisphere and IKM SampleTank work without a hitch)???
