Just installed 16.08. It deleted all my plugins and then didn't install the new ones. Tried several times, then uninstalled and downloaded 16.07 and installed. Zero problems. Assume there is a pretty significant bug with the 16.08 installer?
On Windows 11, in case that is relevant

Its not resolved, the installer itself doesn't download fully (security/network issue every time at 604MB) and I have to resume the download. After downloading, I did the quick clean up and it throws an error when installing VST3 plugins "Source compressed stream has invalid content". Win11 btw.

Confirmed download fail here as well.
16.08 will not complete the download. Using Fire Fox 117.0b5 (64-bit) - Download manager failed. Failed not using a download manager as well.
Tried with EDGE as well - failed (Network Issue)

Everything worked for me. I use Chrome on Windows 10. It downloaded correctly and installed 16.08 VST2 and 3 as it should. Thanks for the fix. I love Harper!

Checked the download against the checksum provided by Melda before installing anything.
All OK on Xubuntu 22.04.

Tried 3 PCs (2 win 10, 1 win7) and a mobile device (latest brave on Android 13.)
16.07 downloads ok. 16.08 does not.
I get an HTTP 416 error at around 603meg in to the download with 16.08
