Hey, just curious, would you guys like an arpeggiator as a variation? Something you could use with exiting midi, like a chord. ?? something similar to one in Logic Pro..

Interesting... How does such an arpeggiator work?
I should have finished the new beta version already. There is a minor UI layout issue to be solved. I promise you, you'll love the new "song view"...
Thanks,
Attila

Actually, what that one does, is works on chords in the phrase. You can set it to play the notes in the chord, since these are the only notes in the phrase, in the same manner as what you have already in the generator. But, in logic pro's version, you can set lengths of the chord notes, or intermingle the actual chord on a sequence.. I have a link to a you tube vid describing how to use. It's kind of very very useful, especially in techno style music, but, I could see it in any genre really. here is the link.
This is a video showing how to use it, maybe this would give an idea of what I am talking about. It doesn't have to be exactly like this, but, obviously, you do need some of the same basic concepts and just go from that..

or build something like it into the phrase editor.. kind of were that would really shine.. or both, a variation and in the phrase editor.. hehe

Another one to look at is the free vst Blue Arp..

BTW, I don't think Blue ARP will load into RC.. it needs to send midi to another VST, so, it has to be before anything in the chain.,

RapidComposer v5.2b6 is available!
The biggest feature is the new 'song view' with configurable view settings. Also, the 'DAW view' button was moved to the editing mode menu to make the UI more logical.
Improvements:
The biggest feature is the new 'song view' with configurable view settings. Also, the 'DAW view' button was moved to the editing mode menu to make the UI more logical.
Improvements:
- 'Song View' implemented that displays the composition line by line, showing the chords and optionally the notes
- The 'DAW view' button moved to the editing mode menu
- Lines are named automatically as Line 1, Line 2, etc. It is not possible to rename them anymore
- In the chord builder you can select multiple notes by holding down the Shift or Ctrl keys when clicking.
- Internal code cleanup to improve stability

Hi.
Once we leave the default Composition View, how do we get back to it?
I'm thinking it should be in the menu along with all the others.
