u-he Uhbik Collection in Need of Complete Overhaul

I do understand that this may be controversial and not popular at all, having said that:

I think after Zebra 3 is out, it's Uhbik effects collection's turn. There are three possible scenarios in my opinion:

• Combining them all into one super multi effects plugin and a complete GUI overhaul (the best scenario)
• Updating them one by one (still nine separate plugins)
• Retiring them for good (the worst? scenario)

Even though the third scenario (retiring them) may be too dramatic a change, it would give Urs and the team more time to focus on the main products they offer. I'm myself not in favor of Uhbik retirement, but at the same time, I don't like their GUI, and I don't like the fact they are nine separate effects, instead of one super plugin. In favor of downsizing and minimalism here. But if many people are still using Uhbik plugins, then I guess I'm wrong about this whole subject.

We had already started working on a big Uhbik 2.0 update back in 2019.
Then Covid hit, and yadda yadda yadda, here we are, a few years later, still not having finished the update.

The plan is to finally resume work on Uhbik 2.0 after the Filterscape 1.5 update has been released. Can't estimate how long it will take until a new Uhbik beta will surface, but if you want to read up on the current state, frozen in time, you can do so here:

No right or wrong. I'm getting plenty of use from Uhbik. There's a few improvements i can think of but all in all they have been a mainstay for me for over a decade. The controls are slightly different to any other FX i have but that hasn't been a problem.

I would like that, too. What i meant is that, as is, they work well for me. I have the alpha builds of 2.0.
